Industrial Digitalization Training by ATS Global Spain and UPV/EHU

Purpose
The industrial sector is facing a growing challenge: the urgent need for professionals skilled in industrial digitalization, specifically in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Companies are seeking experts in implementing and managing Teamcenter PLM systems, a key technology for sectors such as automotive, aerospace, rail, and advanced machinery.

Businesses need professionals who can quickly integrate into real-world environments and manage critical product lifecycle processes. However, current training offerings fall short of providing the required practical depth.

Solution Approach
To meet this challenge, ATS Global Spain, in collaboration with the School of Engineering of the UPV/EHU, has developed a highly specialized training program in Teamcenter PLM, designed to prepare qualified talent ready to join the industry.

The program includes:

  • Two complementary courses focused on Teamcenter PLM:
    • Introduction to Product Development Management Systems
    • Advanced Administration and Configuration of Teamcenter Environments
  • An intensive hands-on methodology, where each student works with their own equipment in an environment that realistically simulates industrial conditions.
  • Limited enrollment (16 seats per course) to ensure personalized learning.
  • Direct university–industry collaboration, integrating academic content with real market needs.
  • Real employment opportunities: selected participants may join ATS Global’s engineering team.
  • Academic recognition: courses grant 9 ECTS credits and a Complementary Studies certificate from UPV/EHU.
  • Accessible training, made possible by funding from the Provincial Council of Álava.
