ATS Global creates a single source of truth for Petrol Ofisi with Opcenter RD&L

Purpose

As one of Turkey’s largest energy infrastructure groups, Petrol Ofisi had already risen to the peak of the fuels, lubricants, and chemicals market. Beyond being an exemplary service provider, the Group also supports thousands of jobs and exports Turkish engineering expertise internationally.

However, their operations lay in a complex, multidisciplinary environment where R&D, laboratory, product development, testing, formulation, and technical application processes involved many teams, locations, and stages.

Managing activities across multiple sources and departments made maintaining a complete and reliable view of product lifecycle data a challenge, as the company handles over:

• 400 raw materials
• 800 product formulations
• 500 lubricants products
• 1,000 SKUs
• 300 test methods
• 300,000 annual analyses
• 200 pieces of equipment

All in all, they held a highly valuable but difficult to manage data landscape. And with reporting requiring manual data collection and processes scattered across multiple channels, a new, digital solution was more necessary than ever.
