ATS Global unifies processes and enhances collaboration across Draxton’s global operations using Siemens PLM solutions
Purpose
- Implement a unified PLM system across global sites in Mexico, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, and China.
- Establish comprehensive document management with configured permissions to ensure confidentiality and standardize new product concept and development within unified project frameworks.
- Optimize design workflows and enable multi-CAD integration in Teamcenter, facilitating centralized design, seamless team collaboration, and increased efficiency across global operations.
Solution Approach
- We implemented Teamcenter as our primary PLM platform to unify data and processes, ensuring a single source of truth for all product-related information and enhancing decision-making.
- Quality management by incorporating the document management of some APQP
elements (FMEA, Flowchart and Control plan). - This integration enhanced our ability to monitor, manage, and improve quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- To align with Draxton’s processes, we built customized automated workflows in Teamcenter, optimizing efficiency and meeting unique operational needs while driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- We deployed solutions on Azure for secure, scalable global access and real-time collaboration.
