A German company that manufactures mobile manipulators has chosen ATS to implement a new static version for training purposes. The manipulators are used in places and situations that are too dangerous for people. This includes carrying out bomb disposal and entering contaminated areas.

Currently the customer only has mobile manipulators controlled via remote control. ATS, together with a sub-contractor specializing in machine building, will produce the skid equipment, carry out the required PLC-programming and implement the robot-arm communication and visualization.
