Established in 1986, Applied Technical Systems Pty Ltd (“ATS”), a division of ATS Global B.V., is The
Independent Solution Provider for Industrial, Process and Information Technology users worldwide.

ATS provides engineered systems, products and services for all three levels of the manufacturing and
process automation solution:

  • the instrumentation and control equipment
  • the controllers and operator interfaces, and
  • the manufacturing operations and execution software.

ATS is unreservedly committed to:

  • maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for our staff, contractors and clients
  • developing the professional standing of our staff
  • continually improving our business
  • meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations, and
  • improving and protecting the world in which we live

Our strategic direction is aligned with the purpose and context of the organisation.

To achieve the targets that have been set for ATS, we need to focus our energies on the consolidation
of our core business, developing our customer base, lifting the tangible value of our solutions, and improving the
lives of our staff. We aim to accomplish this by:

  • Listening to our customers and adapting our business to their needs.
  • Harnessing the competence of our staff and investing in their development.
  • Promoting and caring for the health and safety of our staff.
  • Acting responsibly in line with our values of professionalism, respect, integrity, commitment,
    excellence and teamwork.
  • Proactively improving the environment and the sustainability of our resource use.
  • Encouraging continuous improvement and innovation in all that we do.

Our commitments to quality, safety and the environment are underpinned by the application of a single
Integrated Management System (“IMS”) that meets the requirements of three international standards, viz:

  • ISO 9001 – Quality Management
  • ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
  • AS NZ 4801 & OHSAS 18001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management.

Through sensible implementation of these standards, our core objective is to be recognised as having
attained the highest levels of excellence across all our activities. In line with this objective our staff must
perform their duties in accordance with our standards, all statutory and regulatory requirements, the requirements of
our customers, and with careful consideration of the environment in which they work and live. Our Integrated
Management Systems incorporate requirements for the prevention of pollution, injury and ill health and frameworks for
setting and reviewing hazards, risks, objectives and targets across the business including those for health, safety,
and the environment.

We are working hard to meet our customers’ needs and exceed their expectations. We must also meet the
expectations of our shareholders and other stakeholders, and we aim to provide the highest standards of assistance and
care for those whom we are privileged to serve.
