Presstran verscheept meer dan 200.000 chassis onderdelen per dag, o.a. naar autofabrikanten in Noord Amerika en Europa, waaronder DaimlerChrysler, Ford, General Motors en Jaguar.In het verleden gebruikte Presstran een traag en niet flexibel dataverzameling systeem, dat gebruik maakte van papier, waardoor de tijdsspanne tussen verkrijgen en verwerken van de data te groot was.<br \/>\nActivplant werd ge\u00efnstalleerd in de 78 fabrieksrobotten, PLC\u2019s, en besturingshardware voor het verzamelen van het aantal goede onderdelen, cyclustijden, informatie over de staat van de foutcodes van de machines, run time, part codes, etc. Magna International heeft Activplant ge\u00efnstalleerd in veel van haar fabrieken in Canada, de US en Mexico. Het wordt gebruikt voor de productie, voor het monitoren en tracken van de productiviteit, werktempo en voorraadbeheer en in sommige fabrieken is er een verbinding met hun business systemen (SAP, BrainNA\u2019s Trans4M) voor een directe real-time verbinding met de fabrieksvloer.<\/p>\n<p>Na installatie van Activplant werd in de eerste 6 maanden al een return on investment behaald en na 15 maanden een besparing van $1 miljoen. De grafiek toont de grootste oorzaak van down-time. Deze analyse geeft de gebruiker het inzicht wat er verbeterd moet worden.<\/p>\n<p>Analysis showing every incident of down time, how long it lasted, what was the issue and what part was running. The Pareto chart shows the largest cause of downtime.
