The Position
Learn to develop Manufacturing Intelligence (MI), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Control solutions for leading global manufacturing companies. In this function you will work in a multi disciplinary team to assist with the configuration and development of MI/MES solutions based on Functional Design Statements and Detailed Technical Designs. You will assist in the development, implementation and onsite installation and commissioning phases. This position offers a great stepping stone for professionals that have 1-2 year experience as a controls/SCADA engineer or starters that just graduated from University.
The Person
The right candidate holds a University degree in IT, Engineering, Industrial Automation or equivalent. 1-2 years experience in the Industrial Automation and/or Information Technology markets is advantageous. Strong skills in programming tools, like C++, C#, ASP, VB.NET, Java and databases such as MS SQL or Oracle are required. Candidates should preferably be fluently in a second language. Thinking to win trust, presentation and communications skills coupled with enthusiasm are character traits we are seeking. A willingness to travel is essential in this position.
