Due to the exceptional quality and service that the ATS Dimensional Engineering group has provided, it has been awarded a repeat three year contract with a major automotive customer.
ATS has an ongoing order with the customer for our onsite engineering services as well as the rental of our dimensional scanning equipment. This order covers a multitude of services offered through the ATS Dimensional Engineering Group including:
- CMM program development and execution using PC-DMIS and Calypso software
- Individual part scanning inspection, full body in white inspection and fixture tooling inspection –
ATS engineers utilize ATS owned FARO Edge scanning arms with the latest FARO technology HD scanning heads. This equipment is powered by Polyworks software to provide data reports. This allows ATS engineers to provide real time feedback to the customer on part condition and defined GD&T process flow. - Manufacturing Tooling and Fixture Expediting –
ATS engineers travel to various locations where our customer is having their tooling and fixture manufactured. ATS provides the customer with daily build progress and status reports, manage pending issues and provide risk mitigation through GR&R and buyoff. - Training –
Training services include CCM Program and operation training, Polyworks software, and FARO equipment operations.
