ATS attended the 2014 Innovation Conference at the Nissan North America Plant in Canton, Mississippi during February 26-27. This annual event was showcasing the latest technologies for improving quality and productivity within the automotive industry. Ralph Marsh, VP of Strategic Business Development for ATS US shared with attendees the latest trends for quality control, such as:

ATS Inspect – Visual defect management software with attribute and variable data collection, smart checklists and real-time event reporting for immediate response to production issues. Reduces costs related to quality (rework, scrap, warranty claims).

ATS CM4D – Product quality validation software which works with dimensional data analysis from any device and compares the physical product with its original CAD design to identify differences to make sure the produced parts match. This single automated solution with good ROI utilizes flexible SPC reporting suite and brings visibility and transparency in quality processes.
