Industrial Alarm Printer Replacement Software

ICS was initially formed to produce high quality real-time process control software for industrial applications. The continuous development of the IMAC product has given ICS a solid market position. IMAC is distributed by ATS in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.

ICS developed a software package, called IMAC, replacing up to 16 printers in an industrial control room with a single PC. The Xpert version enables detailed alarm and event analysis logged by the IMAC system. ICS' latest product, IMAC Custodian, is a suite of Web-based software tools designed to assist control room operators and supervisors to manage alarm & safety system procedures.

The data storage capacity of IMAC is restricted to the PC hard disk. As an indication, a 2 GB hard disk could hold the equivalent of up to 50 boxes of paper printout. Two printers can be replaced by using the PC's Com 1 and Com 2 serial ports. To replace more than 2 printers, 1 of 4 additional port cards is required which gives a total of 6 ports. IMAC is divided into a Server and a Client to view and gather data independently.
