In general, the Industrial Automation Engineer must meet the following criteria with proven project experience:
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills
- Ability to interface with client to document requirements, review design, and speak to development constraints based on the application architecture/design.
Job Requirements
Ability to interface with client to document requirements, review design, and speak to development constraints based on the application architecture/design.
- Cimplicity Development Experience: 3+ years
- Database Experience (SQL/Oracle): 1+ years
- MES experience is a big plus
- Siemens Simatic IT is a plus
- Strong knowledge of PCs and mobile devices such as Pocket PCs
- Experience with Windows XP/Vista/7
- Experience with Windows 2003/2008 Server
- Must be able to support SQL Server databases
- This is a customer-facing position so you must be able to interact with customers and handle pressure.
Additional capabilities:
- Manufacturing experience, automotive ideal
- .NET development experience (C#, WCF, ASP.NET)
- Training experience
Engineers in this function have a wide degree of freedom to complete tasks within a creative team of national and international engineers. Specific product experience is developed through a diverse range of activities and internal training and coaching.
