Statistical Process Control (SPC) Solutions

Advanced Systems & Designs (ASD) assists customers with improving product quality by applying SPC gage interfaces, data collection systems and analysis software to manufacturing processes. In December 2001, ASD acquired Quality Measurement Systems (QMS). The company name was then changed into ASDQMS. QMS offers measurement, gaging and computerised SPC/SQC data collection and analysis software.

ASDQMS offers fixed station, roving data collectors and analysis software for real-time SPC information. Products include SPC (Statistical Process Control) Software, Gage Interfaces and Portable Data Collectors. These solutions can be integrated with existing MES applications, as well as other hardware and software, and are suitable for data from single or multiple sources, creating a seamless SPC solution.

SPC software enables users to employ the Desktop Explorer screen to create and modify Worksets, monitor all data collection processes, manage the database and generate reports from a central location. Data is stored in a Microsoft Access or SQL database. The system automatically creates a date and time stamp, performs data validation and traceability while also identifying problems and suggesting corrective actions.
