I/O and Operator Interface Products for the Automation Industry

Spectrum Controls, Inc., a product leadership company, designs and manufactures electronic hardware and related software products for the industrial controls market. Both the Allen-Bradley compatible I/O and WebPort are distributed by ATS in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg.

Spectrum Controls' products fall into three major categories: Allen-Bradley compatible I/O, Schneider Electric compatible I/O and, small-text-based operator interfaces and communications devices. As a Rockwell Automation Encompass Partner, they have announced the new embedded Web server module, WebPort, for the Allen-Bradley SLC-500 programmable controller family. WebPort provides Ethernet connectivity for systems based on the successful SLC-500 platform.

Allen-Bradley compatible I/O includes products for compact I/O, ControlLogix, SLC-500 and PLC-5. Schneider I/O includes Modicon Quantum and SquareD SY/MAX. Operator interfaces offer reduced operator entry errors with auto-scaling and programmable operator entry limits (minimum and maximum values), direct access to any register location within PLC and P/AD, alarm generation for quick operator response and security screens for controlled access. OP's are rated NEMA 4,12,13,IP65, CSA, UL/cUL Class 1 Div 2.
