Providing more than connectors, Molex delivers complete interconnect solutions for a number of markets, including data communications, telecommunications, industrial, photovoltaic, automotive, medical and consumer electronics. Molex designs, manufactures and distributes more than 100,000 products to customers worldwide.

The extensive product offering includes a full range of solutions from connectors and adapters to assemblies, backplane interconnects, optical circuitry, termination kits and tooling. Product applications include telecommunications, automotive, data communications, consumer electronics, photovoltaic applications, factory automation, membrane switches and flex circuits.

Integrated Products Division: As part of the Integrated Products Division the Automation and Electronic Products (AEP) Group specializes in harsh-environment technology for factory automation, power, temporary lighting and ergonomic products in industrial, construction and other applications. Brad® lines of Automation products include such globally recognized names as RJ-Lnxx®, applicom® and SST™.

AEP products are distributed by ATS in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain and Luxembourg.

BradConnectivity

Industrial Ethernet Connectors and Cordsets

Within the BradConnectivity™ product line RJ-Lnxx® RJ-45 overmolded connectors were the industry's first Industrial Ethernet connectors to bring Ethernet to the factory floor. Since launching, the BradConnectivity™ offering and applications have grown to include many harsh-duty commercial datacom solutions including Oil Exploration, Outdoor Telecom, Entertainment, Defense, Display and Retail.

BradConnectivity™ RJ-Lnxx® Ethernet connectors are designed to withstand abusive harsh manufacturing and processing environments by combining the industrially proven mini form factor with standard RJ-45 technology to seal out contaminants and protect against the effects of vibration and accidental disconnection. RJ-Lnxx connectors are compatible with either 10 Base-T or 100 Base-TX systems.

Communication Solutions for Industrial Networks

SST and Applicom® products offer a range of complete communication solutions covering more than 40 industrial communication protocols. These solutions connect PC-based applications to industrial equipment and Fieldbuses including ControlNet, DeviceNet and Profibus as well as networks from Modicon, Rockwell Automation and Siemens. SST / Applicom products enable deterministic data acquisition in various industrial applications.

Woodhead Network Interface Cards connect various computer types (PCI, ISA, PC/104, PCMCIA, Compact PCI, and VME) to industrial networks including AB DH+/RIO, CANopen, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet, Modicon MB/MB+/RIO, Profibus, Serial, and WorldFIP. Applications include PC Control, I/O emulation, HMI/SCADA, PLC programming and network configuration, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
